Match Report
With both keepers away (late one to Covid) and further Covid case meaning a further player away, we were helped out by Vets B and the unageable Robin Kendall (once again playing for the Ramblers alongside his grandson).
A well fought game with some off the pace marking leading to an early goal and a slightly controversial free kick (including men the wall and in front of the 3rd choice keeper…the captain) leading to a 2nd in the first 10 minutes.
After that, Ramblers dominated the game switching from a 4-4-2 to a 3-5-2. Josh Kendall getting one back with good pressing, but overall our passing was not good enough to get a 2nd.
A 3rd formation switch to a 3-4-3 was, shall we say, less successful and Eastham got a 3rd goals against the run of play.
Good spirited match, well played all and
