It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Steve Woods after a brave fight against cancer. He died on the evening of the 27th February 2018, surrounded by his family and free from pain. Steve was a stalwart of the 4th XI whose willingness to play in any position for the good of the team saw him play more games in goal than he would have wished for, but he was always keen to help out.

He was part of the 4ths in the golden years when all comers, including the 1st XI, were put to the sword. He is pictured back row, far right, in a photo of that great team. We send our condolences to his family.
